I Gave Birth to a Blog!

February 12th, 2026

You know, I always wondered why it’s called a blog. I always thought it was an acronym that stood for something, but it turns out it’s a combination of the words web and log. I think that’s cool as fuck. Oh yeah, mild warning: I’m gonna curse a little bit because we’re all adults here. I think we’re all adults who know how to pay our taxes, which, by the way, if you didn’t get started on your taxes right now, I think that’s a good time to do it; way better than procrastinating until April.

I’m gonna use this blog to say my thoughts about things. I just recently deleted my Twitter and TikTok accounts, and I kind of wanna distance myself from social media, but not from the Internet as a whole. I still wanna have an Internet presence of some sort because I love the internet, but I wanna do it like the old days.

As for what else I'm doing right now. I’m knee-deep in writing my novel Comedy; it’s a comedic mystery thriller about newly formed adults who just graduated high school discovering a secret labyrinth underneath their childhood mall, and lots of shady shit happen. Right now, the entire book is finished; I’m just editing it and proofreading it.

My writing process is: first, I write a world guide/lore Bible, which helps me keep track of the characters, where they live, and a lot of shit that probably won’t really even make it into the book. Afterwards, I write an outline of how the story is gonna go. Usually, the outline goes through multiple different drafts. In Comedy’s case, it took three drafts to get the story to a state that I liked. Then I take that outline and translate all the story beats into book form, like adding "said" and all that kind of writing stuff. I'm currently on that stage right now, alongside letting friends/loved ones proofread chapters. The deadline I set for myself is March 14th, my birthday, and after that, I’m gonna celebrate by going to Universal Studios, so that’s gonna be a fun time.
